Today an entrepreneur has many financing options meeting most of
his needs. Thanks to the close relationships in a wide network of
investors APMC therefore offers and range of different financing
instruments in order to allow an optimal, tailor-made implementation
of growth financing.
The main financing instruments are:
- Private Equity financing, i.e. private placement of new
shares and/or existing shares to private individuals. Compared to
debt financing Private Equity allows shareholders of a company to
share business risks with other investors rather then paying fixed
interest rates.
- Initial Public Offering (IPO): public placement of new and/or existing
shares. An IPO is not just a Large-Cap Option. Small and medium-sized
enterprises (SME) can also benefit from the existence of new types
of stock exchanges – e.g. the New Entry Standard in Frankfurt.
Offering shares to the public often leads to the highest ROI for
the selling party. In this area APMC is working together with partners
who are willing to get paid with shares rather then cash. This offer
significantly reduces the risks and cash needs a SME company may
face elsewhere.
Further financing instruments we offer may also include:
- Mezzanine Financing, e.g. junior debt with a fixed interest rate
with the option of repaying loan redemption in equity instead of
cash.
- Financing by selling warrants (stock options) or convertible bonds
- Sale-and-lease-back financing: selling of fixed assets (e.g. machines
or R&D laboratories) or intangible assets (e.g. patents or licences)
and leasing them back with an exclusive right of user. These financing
instrument allows companies to activate certain “sleeping”
assets in the balance sheet and to benefit from fresh money to invest
without loosing the exclusive right of user.
- Common bank loans
Of course these financing instruments can also be combined in order
to gain an optimal equilibrium in the balance sheet of a company.
