Partnership
Happy customers is the key success factor for every company facing competition. For an interim manager or consultant clients satisfaction can be a complex target. Implementation of the projects' objectives often change habits and ways people work and therefore often provoke different types of resistance against responsible project managers preferably external staff. It is therefore very important that clients, their employees and consultants do consider cooperation with an interim manager or consultant as valuable partnership rather then unpleasant necessity. Buy-in for a project is only achieved if the relevant parties such as key managers, employees and consultants take full ownership of the project. Often this is achieved through bonuses for accomplished milestones.
However, the partnership between clients and consultants is based on absolute integrity and honesty in every single project phase. If e.g. a projects' scope is unclear or unlikely to provide a reasonable benefit APMC will point out this fact to the client although this might mean loosing a consulting opportunity.


Vision
We believe that a company should always have great objectives to be stronger then its competitors; so does APMC for its clients. We help clients and their employees to create and keep in mind the vision of what their company tries to achieve and how the current project fits in this overall strategy. The big picture is often lost during hectic project phases and its objectives can even seem ridiculous or dangerous to employees. We therefore spend a lot of effort in defining the scope and rationale for all stakeholders of a project .


Pragmatism
Great ideas are not valuable if they can't be realized with available resources. Due to a faster changing market environment many companies are trying to realize too many projects at the same time and departments or business units often claim their projects to be the top-priority. This makes the notion of “top-priority” useless. APMC helps the client to understand which projects are to be considered real top-priorities, i.e. what projects are leading to the strongest competitive advantage, by choosing a pragmatic approach: focus on what increases the company's net present value best and work towards excellent results in this area.


Innovation
A key target of every APMC solution is to make clients stronger then competitors. This can only be achieved with continuous innovation. However, innovation can have several meanings: solutions must not be new but better. Thereby innovation can also mean that clients are best served by introducing or improving a process type with proven track record of success. Innovative solutions do often rely on previous progress
